Abstract

The private practice of Midwife Sri Rayahuningsih, S.Tr.Keb. Bdn requires more structured administrative and service management, as tasks such as patient registration, data recording, scheduling, examinations, and report generation currently rely on manual processes. This research involved designing and developing a web-based management information system for the practice using the Prototyping method. The development process encompassed requirements analysis, initial prototype creation, user evaluation, iterative revisions, testing, and system implementation. The system incorporates three user levels admin, midwife, and patient with distinct access rights. Key features include patient management, registration and queuing, practice scheduling, examination recording, account management, reporting, and online registration. The system was implemented using Laravel 13, React.js with Inertia.js, MySQL, Tailwind CSS, and Railway. Development results indicate that the Prototyping approach facilitated direct system adjustments based on user feedback and helped integrate various service processes into a single web application. The system is expected to enhance administrative efficiency, data accuracy, information retrieval, and patient access to services.
