Abstract

The development of information technology provides opportunities for mosques to improve their services and the delivery of information to congregants. Al-Istiqomah Grand Mosque previously did not have a digital platform to display activity information, financial reports, or support online donations and zakat payments, resulting in less effective communication and manual transactions. This study aims to design and develop a web-based mosque information system to support digital services and simplify data management. The development process uses the Waterfall model through the stages of requirement analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The system provides features such as mosque profile, news and announcements, financial reports, zakat calculator, and online donation and zakat payment services. Each donation and zakat transaction generates an Order ID that is sent via email for tracking purposes. Functional testing using Black Box Testing on 20 test scenarios shows that the system functions according to the planned specifications. The results are expected to facilitate information delivery, improve transparency, and enable online transactions for congregants. However, this study is limited to functional validation and has not measured user satisfaction or long-term operational impact
