Abstract

Employee Management Information System is an information technology solution implemented by PT XYZ through the Talenta application to support employee data management and administrative processes more effectively and efficiently. Despite its implementation, several challenges remain across human, organizational, and technological aspects, potentially affecting system success. Therefore, an evaluation is needed to measure the level of implementation success and analyze relationships among influencing factors. This study aims to evaluate the success of the Employee Management Information System at PT XYZ, examine the effects of key success factors, and provide recommendations for improvement based on the findings. The HOT-Fit (Human, Organization, and Technology Fit) framework was used, while data processing and analysis were conducted using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 3.0. Results showed that ten of thirteen hypotheses were accepted, whereas three were rejected. These findings indicate that most relationships among variables in the HOT-Fit model significantly influence implementation success. Furthermore, the evaluation revealed that the success rate of system implementation reached 58.5%, placing it in the fairly good category. Overall, the system has met most user and organizational needs; however, several areas still require improvement to optimize system benefits and strengthen usability, performance, reliability, efficiency, satisfaction, and sustainability further.
