Optimalisasi Website Sekolah dalam Meningkatkan Pelayanan Informasi Pendidikan di Era Digital

Abstract

Advancements in digital technology are driving schools to enhance the quality of information services through accessible media that meet stakeholder needs. While school websites have the potential to serve as hubs for information and communication, their utilization often faces challenges regarding content quality, accessibility, management, and system sustainability. This study aims to analyze the role of school websites and strategies for their optimization to improve educational information services in the digital era. A literature review methodology was employed, involving a systematic process of collecting, evaluating, comparing, and synthesizing scholarly literature relevant to school websites and educational information services. The findings indicate that school websites play a strategic role as official information hubs, communication channels with stakeholders, and digital representations of the school. Website optimization depends not only on technological aspects but also on content quality and currency, design responsiveness, ease of navigation, feature integration, security, human resource competence, maintenance, and periodic evaluation. The synthesis of literature suggests that optimization must be carried out in a planned and sustainable manner by integrating technological, informational, human resource, and governance aspects. Through such management, the website can support educational information services that are more effective, transparent, accessible, and aligned with stakeholder needs.
