Food security in urban and coastal areas faces various challenges, including limited productive land, climate change, land subsidence, tidal flooding, and seawater intrusion, which may affect the quality of water and land resources. These conditions are experienced by the community of Tambakmulyo, Tanjung Mas Subdistrict, Semarang City, a coastal area affected by tidal flooding and land subsidence. A study of groundwater quality in Semarang City indicates that Tanjung Mas is affected by seawater intrusion, posing challenges to agricultural development and necessitating cultivation approaches that are adaptive to soil salinity. The INTAN BAHARI Program, initiated by PT PLN Indonesia Power UBP Semarang through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) framework, integrates agricultural technology, land utilization, environmental adaptation, and women's empowerment. The program covers an area of 10 hectares and involves the cultivation of vegetables, eucalyptus, sorghum, and medicinal plants (TOGA). Women's empowerment is implemented through the active involvement of the Cantik Bahari Women's Farmer Group (KWT), consisting of 10 members, in cultivation, plant maintenance, agricultural product management, and Urban Farming development activities. The program is expected to benefit the community by increasing land productivity, improving the coastal environment, strengthening food security, and enhancing women's roles. Thus, INTAN BAHARI represents an integrated model of adaptive and sustainable urban agriculture in coastal areas.
