Pengembangan E-Arsip Surat Masuk dan Surat Keluar untuk Mendukung Transformasi Digital Administrasi pada AMIK Luwuk Banggai Menggunakan Analisis PIECES

Abstract

The management of incoming and outgoing correspondence that is still conducted manually can lead to various problems, such as difficulties in document retrieval, risks of archive loss, limited storage capacity, and ineffective administrative processes. These problems indicate the need for the implementation of a digital-based information system that can support more effective and structured archive management. This study aims to develop an Electronic Archive System for Incoming and Outgoing Correspondence to Support Digital Transformation of Administration at AMIK Luwuk Banggai Using PIECES Analysis. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Waterfall system development method, which consists of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing stages. System requirements analysis was conducted using the PIECES method (Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, Service) to identify problems in the existing system and determine the requirements for system development. The developed system is a web-based application with main features including incoming correspondence management, outgoing correspondence management, letter disposition, digital document storage, archive searching, user management, and administrative reporting. The results of the study indicate that the developed Electronic Archive System can assist the processes of recording, storing, searching, and managing correspondence documents more effectively, efficiently, and systematically. The implementation of this system is expected to support digital transformation of administration at AMIK Luwuk Banggai and improve the quality of archive management through the utilization of information technology.
