Manajemen Implementasi Kebijakan Pendidikan Karakter Berbasis Nilai-Nilai Islam Dalam Pembentukan Disiplin dan Moralitas Mahasiswa Pada PTKIN: Sebuah Kajian Literatur

Abstract

This study aims to conceptually analyze the management of implementing character education policies based on Islamic values in shaping students' discipline and morality at State Islamic Higher Education institutions (PTKIN) through library research. The focus of the study is directed at synthesizing scientific literature on the effectiveness of the four fundamental management functions: planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. The literature review shows that character building at PTKIN requires a transformation of governance from an administrative-legalistic approach to the integration of substantive theological values. The success of implementing this policy largely depends on the synchronization of university curricula with the Ma’had Al-Jamiah ecosystem, the collective synergy of all members of the academic community as mentors, and a supervision reform that is educational and persuasive. This study provides a theoretical contribution in the form of a conceptual model for managing morality in Islamic higher education that is adaptive to the challenges of the digital era
